This swimsuit is a marvel. My son was tetanized, but now that he's wearing his " plouf " he feels safe, he floats straight, and we can finally swim together. Be careful with the white, it's probably yellowing from the cream, chlorine or sun.
For the second time, I ordered a floating swimsuit for my son, now**** aged 4. As well as being comfortable and easy for him to put on by himself, it helps him to feel perfectly at ease in the water. We've noticed the difference in just a few days' use, compared with the armband buoy combination.

The floating swimsuit is suitable for children from 30 months and 13kg. Indeed, before 30 months, the child has not had time to develop the global motor skills of legs, arms and head. These motor skills are important because, without them, the child will not be autonomous in the water.
The size 2 swimsuits are the smallest size at Plouf (13 to 15 kg). The sleeves contain extra FibreAir® to optimize flotation for the smallest weights.
Make sure you know your child's weight & follow the size guide below:
Size 2 : 28.7 to 33 lb
Size 3 : 33 to 37.5 lb
Size 4 : 37,5 to 41,9 lb
Size 5 : 41,9 to 46,3 lb
Size 6 : 46,3 to 53 lb
If your child's weight falls between two weight ranges, feel free to go up a size.
This does not affect the buoyancy as long as the child's weight matches

Our floating swimsuit is certified to European standards, so children can't take it off by themselves. You need to be on your feet, your child does not. Hold both hands, you are facing him.
Reassure and secure the child. Teach him to breathe calmly in the water. The air in his lungs complements the buoyancy of the FibreAir® inside the suit. Ask him to flap his legs IN the water. Let go of one hand and let him start to stabilize in the water. Ask if they can feel their body floating. When you feel the child is comfortable, release one hand after the other.
Explain that your child will be able to use his hands to navigate. Always stay close to your child. Provide confidence through your presence and praise, as children become confident as they discover their surroundings.
